This research focuses on presenting the criteria for measuring the success of software projects supported by the review of different research works on what criteria are taken into account when assessing the success of a project according to the area for which it is developed. Through a theoretical and interpretive work, the general parameters for measuring success in projects will be reviewed. The affected parameters will also be reviewed or points that not be taking into account to measure the success of a project. The article is made up of three parts: the first presentation of the basic concepts and in general about what the projects are.
