Studies carried out by the ACGIH recognize musculoskeletal disorders as a problem of safety and health at work, which led to the completion of this article that has the general objective of describing the ergonomic TLV's for upper limbs (hand, wrist, forearm) performed by the ACGIH in 2019 and based on this description, an example was developed evaluating HAL, NPF, lifting and fatigue of upper limbs to a physical therapist under the qualitative evaluation modality; in which it was obtained as a result that the tasks carried out were outside the TLV’s described by ACGHI / 2019. In conclusion, the application of ergonomic TLVs are a useful measure to assess the increase in the Manual Force Level, the Normalized Peak Force, the lifting of loads and muscle fatigue during working hours longer than 4 hours that can generate a greater probability of developing musculoskeletal disorders in the upper limbs.
